Sticky Messages

Keep important messages pinned to the bottom of busy channels. Sticky messages automatically repost to stay visible as new messages come in.

Sticky Message Features

Pin important information so it never gets buried in active channels.

Always Visible

Sticky messages automatically repost at the bottom of a channel whenever new messages push them out of view, ensuring your important content stays visible.

Text or Embed

Write your sticky as plain text (up to 2,000 characters) or use the embed builder for a richer message with colours, titles, descriptions, and images.

Smart Refresh

The sticky only reposts when it actually leaves the visible area, avoiding unnecessary spam. One sticky message is allowed per channel.

Pause and Resume

Temporarily pause a sticky message without deleting it. Resume it at any time to bring it back. Great for seasonal announcements or event information.

Dynamic Placeholders

Use {server} and {memberCount} placeholders in your sticky text. These update automatically each time the message reposts.

AI Message Writer

Use the AI Magic Button to generate sticky message content instantly, then customise the result to match your channel's purpose.

Configuration

Sticky messages are managed from the Sticky Messages tab of Community Studio.

Channel

Select the Discord channel where the sticky message should appear. Only one sticky message is allowed per channel.

Message Mode

Choose between plain text or embed mode. Text mode supports up to 2,000 characters with placeholders. Embed mode opens the full embed builder.

Status

Each sticky shows its current status: active or paused. You can pause, resume, edit, or delete any sticky message at any time.

Preview

A live preview shows exactly how your sticky message will appear in Discord, including formatting, placeholders, and embed styling.
