Automatically assign roles when members join voice channels. Set a global voice role for any voice activity, or map specific roles to individual channels.
Voice Role Features
Global Voice Role
Set a single role that is assigned to any member currently in any voice channel. This is ideal for highlighting active voice users in the member list.
Channel-Specific Roles
Map individual voice channels to specific roles. Members receive the mapped role when they join that channel and lose it when they leave.
Auto Remove
Toggle whether the global voice role is removed when a member disconnects from voice. Channel-specific roles are always removed on disconnect.
Multiple Mappings
Create as many channel-to-role mappings as you need. Each voice channel can have its own assigned role for fine-grained control.
Instant Assignment
Roles are assigned and removed in real time as members join and leave voice channels, with no delay or commands required.
Role Hierarchy
Gander's bot role must be positioned above any roles it assigns. The settings page includes a reminder to ensure your role hierarchy is configured correctly.
Configuration
Global Voice Role
Select a role to assign to anyone in any voice channel. Leave empty to skip the global role and only use channel-specific mappings.
Remove on Disconnect
Toggle whether the global voice role is removed when a member leaves all voice channels. When off, the role persists until manually removed.
Channel Mappings
Add channel-to-role mappings by selecting a voice channel and the role to assign. Each mapping can be deleted individually.
